Unbeaten India demolished Hong Kong 3-1 on Tuesday to take big steps in confronting Asian powerhouses Iran, as daunting tasks await teams heading to the quarter-finals of the 19th Asian Menâ€™s U20 Volleyball Championship at Isa Sport City Hall.
India still had an unbeaten run in the top-tier championship after producing a fantastic 3-1 (19-25 26-24 27-25 25-12) win over Hong Kong on Wednesday. Shreyansh Singhâ€™s 16 points including 12 spikes and another 16 points from Shekhar Singh enabledÂ India to a successful comeback.

The classification playoffs continue on Wednesday. India go up against toughest Iran side in the round one. TheÂ winning team will advance to the quarter-finals, with the losers being relegated to the 9th-16th classification round.
The 19th Asian Menâ€™s U20 Championship serves as an Asian qualification tournament for the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Menâ€™s U21 World Championship. Only top two teams from Manama will make the cut for the next yearâ€™s world meet.
