Khelo India Youth Games: Red-hot Maharashtra continues winning run in kho kho
Hosts Maharashtra continued their run winning in three age group categories in the kho kho event at the Khelo India Youth Games 2019.
In the Under-17 boys section the hosts downed Delhi 14-9, with Dilip Khandvi, Hrishikesh Joshi and Rohan Kore playing a stellar role. In the corresponding girls event, Maharashtra downed Tamil Nadu 13-9. The architect of the win was Srushti Shinde, Kiran Shinde and Ritika Magdum.
Maharashtra also had a field day in the Under-21 girl’s section. The hosts downed Delhi 12-7 with Nikita Pawar leading from the front.

Under-17, Boys:Â Maharashtra bt Delhi 14-9.
Under17, Girls:Â Maharashtra bt Tamil Nadu 13-9.
Under-21, Girls:Â Maharashtra bt Delhi 12-7; Gujarat drew with Tamil Nadu 14-14; Punjab bt Karnataka 9-7.
