A New York City policeman was arrested on Friday for apparently attempting to hire a hitman to eliminate her ex-husband and a kid, authorities and prosecutors stated
The FBI and NYPD internal affairs officers took Cincinelli into custody and later appeared in front of a federal judge in Central Islip, New York City.
She was ordered held without bail.
Cincinelli was attempting to get her existing partner to work with a hit man to eliminate her ex-husband, a cops authorities told NBC New York. But in court, the federal government said Cincinelli had two targets in mind– a man and juvenile woman, who prosecutors did not recognize.
An FBI agent impersonated a prospective hitman for hire after a personal source reported Cincinelli’s plot to the firm, according to a detention memo.
Cincinelli then offered $7,000 in gold coins to the confidential informant as payment for the murder plan. The source tape-recorded a conversation with Cincinelli in which she discussed what her alibi would be when authorities questioned her over her previous other half’s death, the memo stated.
NBC New York recognized the private source kept in mind in the detention memo as Cincinelli’s boyfriend.
The agent posing as the gunman sent out Cincinelli a photo of her ex-husband seeming dead in his car. Regional authorities, dealing with the FBI, then appeared at her house to inform her that her former spouse had actually been murdered, according to the memo.
Cincinelli has 2 kids, aged 5 and 10.
And in a dramatic twist to an otherwise routine pre-trial hearing, Magistrate Judge Anne Y. Shields gave a prosecution demand to get Cincinelli’s assistance to unlock her own cell phone using facial acknowledgment.
The federal government claimed most of the criminal offense’s planning happened in calls and text messages made on Cincinelli’s phone.
Prosecutors placed the phone in front of Cincinelli’s face twice, but it did not unlock.
Cincinelli works out of the 106 th Precinct in the borough of Queens, which serves the areas of Ozone Park, South Ozone Park, Lindenwood, Howard Beach, and Old Howard Beach.
Cincinelli was honored as the precinct’s officer of the month, according to a tweet by the 106 th Precinct on June 1, 2017.
