Premier League Round-up: Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd & Tottenham win

Manchester City, who romped to Premier League success by 19 points last season, began the defence of their title with an impressive win away to an Arsenal side playing under new Spanish manager Unai Emery on Sunday.

Attempting to become the first team since Manchester United in 2009 to retain the title, the champions were good value with goals by Raheem Stirling and Bernardo Silva.

Mane and Mo Salah on target

Liverpool FC began their 2018/2019 English Premier League (EPL) football season in an overwhelming fashion, crushing West Ham United FC 4-0 at the Anfield stadium here on Sunday.

Last season’s Premier League top scorer Mo Salah was on target again as Liverpool began their campaign with an easy 4-0 win at home to West Ham United.

Pogba and Luke Shaw saw off foxes

Manchester United saw off Leicester City in the Premier League’s opener, with Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw getting the goals at Old Trafford.

Elsewhere 
Chelsea opened their Premier League campaign with victory against Huddersfield, while Tottenham, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Watford also made winning starts.
