Squash: Indian women’s team stuns Malaysia in straight sets; secures a place in final
India entered the women’s team final in the squash competition at the 18th Asian Games here on Friday.
The Indian team of Joshana Chinappa, Dipika Pallikal, Sunayna Kuruvilla and Tanvi Khanna defeated Malaysia 2-0 in the semi-finals.
Joshna Chinappa has defeated 5-times singles Asiad champion (and long-time nemesis) Nicol David 12-10, 11-9, 6-11, 10-12, 11-9 to give India a 1-0 lead in the semifinal.
